Stay up-to-date with Phil Collins:

Lyrics
Inside out, ooh you got me inside out
Oh inside out, oh inside out

Now everybody keeps on telling me how to be
And everybody tells me do what they say
Oh I'll help myself it's up to me and no-one else
But till I'm ready just keep out of my way

Inside out, ooh you got me inside out
Oh inside out, oh inside out

Now everybody's got me running round, up and down
And here I am going out of my mind
But I won't lose sight of all the, the things I'm looking for
They're coming to me and I'm taking what's mine

Inside out, ooh you got me inside out
Oh inside out, oh inside out

I'll play the game
We'll make the same mistakes
It's all the same
If we can give and take
Hold on, hold on, ooh
Hold on, hold on, ooh

Inside out, ooh you got me inside out
Oh inside out, oh inside out

All of my life I've been searching and hanging on
Turning a corner, never know what I'd find
But now I'm back again like I never went away
Ooh let me in I'm through with wasting my time

Inside out, ooh you got me inside out
Oh inside out, oh inside out
Oh inside out, ooh you got me inside out
Oh inside out, oh inside out

Man oh man. The 1980s was a time like no other. If you experienced it, well then you know. If you missed it then that sucks ..

A classic big band anthem. The arrangement is 80s gold. ❤ such an underrated track.

The 80s were a transitional period between the old world and the modern world. Shopping malls, arcades, video games, TV shows, leather jackets, neon lights, memorable synth-driven music... Nothing like it.

In summer of 1985 I took a summer month long tour to Europe. Most of it by bus. This cassette played in my Walkman on volume level 10 for pretty much the whole month 🤣. Phil has the most incredible talent. He has played the songs of my life 💕💕💕🙏

It was music like this that always encouraged me to be a drummer back in the day. And always thanks to Phil Collins and Chester Thompson for the inspiration. 👍👍😎👍👍

I'm imagining some kind of fan tribute to Mr Collins, something on the ground, visible, - not online.
There must be hundreds of millions of us who owe him deeply.

I never disliked you Phil. You were just everywhere in the 80s. I had to get away from you & Genesis for a bit by 1987. But I will always love this song, and I still think this album is great. (but i really adored hello, i must be going)

They do not make music like this anymore, what awesome memories and what a good time the 80's were for music and everything in general!!! I feel bad for the younger generation today in the year 2021

One of the best songs of all time. It's a chill song but just gets me ramped up when that drumming starts building & the main chorus let's out. Just an awesome tune that's meant to be cranked!

One of the greatest...and I don't say that lightly. I know his work has been panned for being derivative but this one reveals his intuitive artistic genius.
