My grandma taught me to fish with a long cane pole in the late 60’s. I never gave much thought to why my grandpa didn’t take me fishing until recently. He taught me about gardening because that garden was his love. I remember him trading vegetables for bass with his neighbors. It all makes sense in some ways now.
