Thank you for the video. Can you tell us more? How do you detect physical material on auto materials? Can you tell me more about Impact Normal? Is it possible to detect physical material on a static mesh material with an auto material in this way?

I have a landscape automaterial which works fine, i gave it a physical material but i want to have a different sound underwater

Would this method work? I dont have layers exposed so it should work on the automaterial itself, depending on textures?

Do you think this tutorial would work for me?

Am I understanding the part about adding the footstep notifies that you have to manually add them to the run animation? Coming in 5.4 if you will have a huge database of 500+ animations that would be a big task right?

What is the difference between a landscape auto material and PCG? Are they solving the same problem or are they complimentary?
