I'm English and have lived in Poland for 3 years. Even though I've been here for 3 years I can only speak very little Polish because as soon as a Polish person learns I'm English they want to practice their English and only communicate with me in English.

I speak Polish fluently anyway, so I just came to see how accurate these videos are, considering that some can give you false information, but this one looked alright, and everything made sense so I definitely recommend sticking to these videos!

I’ve been to Warsaw and quite a lot of the people I came across, especially the younger generation, knew at least some English, but I still learned as much Polish as I could just to be on the safe side.

I would like to be a polyglot. I been watching these videos, but this language seems quite difficult. It took me time to remember all lessons before this one.

I think it might be useful if I could speak a European language other than English(like Spanish or French), so just in case they don't speak English, I might get lucky and maybe they can speak Spanish or French.

I was born and lived in Poland until I was 5, and then moved to America. I'm almost 17 now and barely know any Polish. It's really embarrassing going to Poland to visit family members and only knowing a few Polish phrases. I really hope I stick to learning the language again, because if not I feel like I failed my family.

I love these videos! I'm using the Pimsleur Program, which rocks with audio learning, and then, when I know the words well enough, I can come on here and see the actual spelling and get used to it that way. Not to mention I can keep up with more informal phrases that are used more often. ;) However, I have one question with the order of one of the phrases, and was wondering if either one is incorrect or they both are correct. When asking someone formally if they speak Polish or English, can Pan/Pani be placed both before and after the verb? In my audio language learning kit they place Pan/Pani before Mowi. Is this correct, too? Thanks a bunch!
