Both mechas fight giant monsters under the command of a team of five to protect the freedom of their worlds, but what would happen if they fought each other?

Anyone who thinks the Megazord should have won clearly knows little about Voltron. Voltron stomps the Megazord regardless of whether it combines with the Dragonzord or Titanus. You're comparing a mech that defends the universe against planet destroying fleets & monsters against a mech that can barely protect the Earth from city level threats.

Honestly one of the Lions should yake out Megazord - the individual lions are planet level

This imaginary fight really doesn't have a lot of interest to me, but I'm glad to see you giving it an objective analysis. Whenever you see these x vs y fights it always seems to boil down to a popularity contest like 'the Ninja Turtles would totally own the Power Rangers because my nostalgia for Ninja Turtles is way stronger'. And then if you're really unlucky they might try to convince you a bunch of pizza-obsessed reptiles named after Italian painters is way less cheesy and deserves way more serious analysis than a show about guys in spandex suits and motorcycle helmets.
