Amen brother! I had to unsub from a bunch of channels recommending gear. I know only watch channels that teach technique. I just recently upgraded from EOS R to the R6 mark II. I’m keeping this camera for at least five years and learn it inside and out.

I only now realized this year that a new fancy camera isn't even needed for what i do, photography. I just need to upgrade my lenses. I'm glad i realized that before the photography youtubers started pushing the hasselbad camera recently which is around $10, 000.

Thank you for this video. I'm stilling rocking the EOS R and I've learned how to use it to make it do what I need it to do, with the limitations lol. I've shot weddings after weddings, sports photos + videos, events, short-form content, and more. That camera was given to me by God. I have to consistently remind myself, everything that God ordains is perfect. Sometimes I'm blinded by what the world promotes (UPGRADE, UPGRADE, UPGRADE) and not see what God wants (Use what you have). I love content like this! Continue to do more like it for Christians in the filmmaking industry.

I have a Canon Rebel T7, and seeing all the Sony cameras many photographers are using makes me want to invest in one, but I rather learn about ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and just learn how to work the camera I have. You said all facts, because I sure 😅thought about investing in another camera, but to be honest I really don’t have the money right now to even buy a $2, 000.00 camera, so I might as well use what I have🤷🏽‍♀️.
