My 2024 2500 does 14.8 mpg, which is better than my Ram 1500 at 13.5 mpg. Both engines are base models. The Ram pings and has low power. The Ford is very quick and very smooth. I have the same payload of tools on both except with the addition of a camper build, which so far is just two Ikea beds and cabinets. Hope this helps and everyone gets their van of choice.

Another information-packed review, Steve. I actually found this review quite interesting, although I don't know that I'd ever be in the market to buy a Transit van. I understand back in the 1960's and 1970's, Ford Transit vans were the vehicle of choice for struggling garage bands to make it to performance gigs (at least in the UK, according to Top Gear.)

Good luck trying to buy one right now. Two dealers have told me anywhere between 6 months to one year with an incredible $6875 markup on top of A $60, 000 price price tag at 7% interest.

I am looking for a ford transit or any cargo van, except for the Mercedes Sprinter, that offers the possibility to have a 2nd row for passenger (3 passengers) and to get the bulkhead installed behind the 2nd row. Does it exist and if not, is it something that be custom built?

I got a transit 350 'bus' when my last van died. Needed it for deliveries bus was NOT my choice but the only option >.<
Found that the MPG was good enough that I actually got rid of my suv and just drove the bus even after changing jobs. LOL!
Looks goofy as hell driving around in a bus as an everyday at 20+ mpg when my suv barely had I'll take the goofy looks and the snickering behind my back :P

I called 3 ford dealerships: Morristown tn knocksville tn and atlanta ga.
Trying to ask amd learn a few things.
Relevant things like standard engine size for the 11000 lb rated version.
And simply if i want the 14' box on a cutaway(which i do) does ford make the actual box?
None couldn't tell me anything and none returned any calls or text with them assuring me they would find out.tisk...
Ill still buy a fleet of 10 when i can but it might be from Illinois or Kalamazoo...who knows 😅
The 11'th one will be just a regular van the cooporate one i use😎🥸😁 with awd.
