Cant he really stop being so negative about the market?!

And his statements about defensive stocks... The large oil companies with big oil reserves have historically been defensive. And see where they are now... its as if they just follow the current oil price without taking into account the huge reseves...

Half???? Really??? That might be realistic if you have a portfolio with $100. If you do this with any security you're crazy. 25% is still risky imo but, if that 25% is all gains anyways then its not thaaaat risky. Like if I put half of my portfolio in anything it'd be something incredibly safe that has a long history....like coca cola. Or just stash your cash in a capital preservation security for a few weeks until we have a better idea of what the market is going to do? Or a savings account? Bank?....stamps?

Not to mention the competitors he mentions are soaring because of covid.

There are tons of stocks out there that are fundamentally cheap. Maybe find those and put a few percent here and a few percent there.

Or maybe I'm wrong and everyone should just plow money into plastic wrap. I sure as hell can't say what to do or not to do because who knows what things will look like in a month or two. Personally cash is the most attractive thing out there right now. If you can't resist buying - find something that looks super cheap? Buy a few shares. Look for something else...buy a few shares of that. Rinse repeat.

Buy low, sell high...Wait 1 year and a day. Profit???? Give me a tv show :)
