Over the last several months, I keep coming back to this group singing Talbot’s composition. I have shared this with my brothers and sisters in the choir, with my family, on Facebook, and with friends. I can’t explain it, but I am moved deeply everytime I hear it. My sister told me that after hearing about a health calamity involving a neighbor, they played this piece that I had sent them, and then they prayed. It’s the humanity of these singers and their sincerity, singing this wonderful piece that gives it the hold and the power over me.
