Thanks again! always a life saver.

Question: how do I prove that the snell law is at minimum time? Do I take a second derivative to show that it's always greater than zero?

The only quantity that is changing is the distance the light ray is traveling. You could make a and b variable as well: however, that would be beyond the scope of a first semester calculus and would require knowledge of multivariable calculus. Also the derivative is with respect to the x-axis in this case.

Hey Patrick, I really enjoy your videos but could you speak up a little please? At max volume, my speakers are still producing a low sound.
