The title of this presentation was 'Model of Art Therapy for Aboriginal Children, within the Preschool'. This is an innovative model to run art therapy groups within preschools, which involve the educators and children in a holistic approach. The model aims to explore the effectiveness of art as a therapeutic tool to ameliorate the effects of trauma in Aboriginal preschool children, in conjunction with educators.
This presentation was IPPE PhD Student Shiri Hergass's Confirmation of Candidature (CoC). Her supervisory panel includes: Professor Janet Mooney (principal supervisor), Dr Margaret Pack (co-supervisor), and Dr Fabri Blacklock (co-supervisor).
