Not comparing this to any of their old stuff, this is so different. But I like it as well, it just needs more time to go deeper into my heart, like their old work.

The vocal harmonies at 5:48, which appear to come from the right speaker and are very faint, adds another punch to the song. I almost wish they were pushed out a little more.

A bit of a slow burner here, but that's OK. 40 Watt Sun always work slowly into your heart. I think the production is great as is the expanded orchestration. A bit Unthanks-ish maybe? Looking forward to getting the album and allowing it time and space to grow.
