Hearst Castle: Grand Rooms Tour of California's Famous Mansion

Hearst Castle is one of the most popular attractions on California's Central Coast. It is a spectacular mansion run by the state parks system and it has many different tours of the extensive property. This video is from the Grand Rooms tour that my wife and I went on and it is a great way to be introduced to this famous spot.

I have been there probably 4 to 6 times over many years and have done different tours - all amazing! But it takes every ounce of control to not jump in to that indoor pool. It is stunning!

My son and I went last year, and indeed it was awesome! Someone that works there told us, that the heirs still go there to use the pool.

Amazing place. My parents were friends with the grandkids of Mr. Hearst and they got to swim in one of the pools years ago. My ex-step father went to school with the Hearst granddaughters and used to party with them. Love my family history

Awesome video! Did you have to get any permission from Hearst Castle before posting this? I only ask because I wanted to post some video, but Hearst's website and the tour stated several times that commercial photography was prohibited without prior permission.
