Acid rap was such a breath of fresh air and still one of my favorite albums of any genre. I dont even care that reviewers don’t fw this album this is a 10/10 album. I’m honestly rooting for Chance and hope he one day makes a return whenever he’s mentally and spiritually ready.

Say what you want. As a Chicagoan, Chances run from 2010 to 2018 was just crazy, like you had to be there. I seen him perform at Louder Than a Bomb (Slam Poetry event in Chicago every year) in high school, I seen him perform in my college in the city and I seen him perform his music as a married man.

Growing pains are real and he is just going through what any human being goes through. Always rooting and praying for him. If you can make it in Chicago, you can make it anywhere. Ask Common, Twista, Crucial Conflict, Kanye, Chief Keef, Derrick Rose, Jennifer Hudson, Lil Durk, Deray Davis, Craig Robinson Tina Fey, Barack Obama, Anthony Davis, the list goes on.

Went to the 10 year anniversary for Acid Rap in California at the Kia Forum. It was my first ever concert and the hilarious part was I fly out the morning to go see it from Georgia, and then immediately after the concert flew back home. The entire night was a blast, I have maybe 4 recordings. I had to just put my phone down and try and absorb as much as I could for the memories… the stadium’s roof is so flipping beautiful.

Acid rap was my intro to Chance. I couldn’t believe that a guy on his second ever mixtape was making music that layered and catchy.

I listened to Acid Rap when I was homeless sleeping on the concrete walking the streets in college. It was a such a self-reflective time and that album is unforgettably legendary to me personally.

chance if your reading this comment somehow, thank you for expressing your Art, JUCIE is one of my favorite songs and acid rap got me through so much as a kid, coloring book brought me closer to God, and Big day taught me to take chances with my own music despite other people's opinion

This man was so authentic. He was so unapologetically himself and then his ego took over. Im one of the biggest chance fans ever but he needs to earn my support back.

I can agree, I just hope that Chance can find that era of creativity again. His last album felt like he was using a paint by numbers style/sons, & which made every song feel the same.
That is the best way I can describe what I felt listening to it.
