A no code expert, imagine asking him “What is your area of expertise?” And you get a “I don’t code”

Amazing how 'no code' products are built using code.

That reminds me of a conversation I had read somewhere a few years. So the interview asks the interviewee:
What if we have computer programs that would write computer programs ? What would software engineers do then ?

And the person answered : software engineers will develop the computer programs that write the computer programs.

The thing with no-code stuff is that you generally use a lot of services and integrations may be even more troublesome than writing the code itself. But we’ll see how all of this turns out

I like this type of content because you can zone out and relax but still learn something.

"Light" on the news, you said? Hell no. Your update was perfect. Cramming so much into a five-minute vid again reflects your genius. Congrats too on new topics & name change, Mr AJ.

People with coding experience < 5 years: "This guy is my hero!!!"
People with coding experience >= 5 years: "The hell is this guy smoking?"

This is good news even for devs. You don't want to spend 5 years developing an app like game devs only to find out that users are not impressed. So anything that can help us fail faster is welcome.

We use zapier for multiple systems but I still often end up having to write webhooks to connect stuff to it, and when something goes wrong (sometimes zapier goes down for instance) and triggers are fired within a Crm we use, it can be a hassle to re fire those events, I had to write a script that replicates the trigger once (just posting the record objects as json to zapier webhook url) which was really simple but if you can’t code at all would probably seem difficult , pros and cons whichever way you go, I’ll always prefer the extra flexibility, performance and control with code

Most people don't like coding.. They are capitalizing on this like WordPress did

In the future we will all need to know how to read.

Blacksmiths are never obsolete, just producing different products. If you can't make tools, you're not a toolmaker

nice headphones, and I also am very appreciative of the music being just at the right volume

I use webflow and it's pretty dope. It's basically an interface for css properties which makes building up a whole site much faster. Although I have to say it's a bit limited when it comes to different device breakpoints, but in that case you can still embed some custom code.

Webflow also has 'Collections' which help to create built in databases and dynamic content..

I think no code is great if you can't code and you want to build something that's very similar to something that already exists, like a blog, a static site or a webshop.
But the more you deviate from the normal use case of the tool, the more you will be fighting with the no code tools and integrations to get them to do what you want. Similar to when you're trying to override bootstrap with inline styles and !important everywhere, at some point it's just not worth the headache anymore. That's when custom code makes more sense.
