The last few years, I was without a formal drivetrain or brake sponsor. Test bikes would come and go, and often, I would end up purchasing Shimano brakes and drivetrains to install on my own. I've ridden Shimano stuff for years, and I absolutely love the way it all feels. Between powerful and predictable brakes, and snappy and smooth shifts, I feel like it allows me to ride exactly how I want. I've been riding Shimano since 1991 (3x7 LX on my Colnago DeLuxe). Still ride all my bikes with Shimano. I love my 1x11 XT on my XC bike, man that thing is dependable and durable.

I would love to see a tutorial on how you avoid or deal with the changing bite point. I think you are going to say you don’t experience it but I do every time at the bike park where prolonged/heavy braking is required. I follow Shimano’s bleed procedure exactly.
