It's amazing how this bmw was abandoned 15-20 years before it was built.

Guy doesn't even have serious machines at his workshop. All he has are the skills. This is so inspiring.

That’s a late 80s early 90s big rear light so 87 onwards E30 3 series. So 33 years old max.

I absolutely can't believe how this video can have so many positive comments. This is no restoration...it's just destruction. Does no one here has at least any sense of how a restoration should look like? First..the car was prepared to look like this. I mean how is it even possible that those plastic bumpers on this facelift E30 could have any rust? By the lines on the door you can even see that there was some acid on the car to make it rust faster. Then you can see how he just puts filler on those rusty doors. This will last for about a year before the filler will crack up again. Repairing the engine like this is a complete mess. he dissasembles the engine and didn't take any note which of the bearing shells, pistons, etc. belong to which cylinder. This wouldn't be bad if all the parts would have been completely restored. But he just smashed the old pieces in again in any order. There are many little differences in radius etc. over time for each cylinder. After rebuilding the engine like this i'm pretty sure it won't last longer than a few kilometres/miles before the engine will blow up. At least..all sealing surfaces has been painted and all the correct seals are missing. This thing will leak oil, exhausts and every other possible liquid like hell. Sorry, but this video is a bad joke. Please realize that.

Would love to see how the engine ran after mixing up all the pistons and bottom end caps? New bearings with a sandpaper crank? Very interesting would love to know how long it lasted.
