Lion Gets JEALOUS | The Lion Whisperer

Kevin Richardson has a very close bond with all of his lions, but shares a very close connection with Meg the lioness. While he's giving her sister Amy a hug, Meg steps in to let him know that he should be giving her some attention instead!

The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.

To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his YouTube Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.

Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.

By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them.

Kevin Richardson truly displays the power of human beings when he can get two mortal enemies in the wild to become friends. We have so much potential when dealing with other species on this planet. Only if all of us were to become conscious as Kevin is.

I love it when the human becomes part of the cat family rather than the other way round. Such affectionate creatures... would so love a lion hug even though I'm sure it would flatten me!  I always find it moving when people gain the trust of these animals in the wild, especially with man's track record. The concept of grace is much more instinctive in the animal kingdom.

When I opened the first Lion Whisperer video recommended by YouTube I was fascinated and binge watched every piece I could get my eyes on. As I have said before, when watching the videos regarding the loss of Ishca (sp?) and Amy I full on sobbed. Watching this little video brings full force the knowledge that when Meg reaches her end I don't know how any of us will be able to get through our own sense of loss as her giant ❤ touched us all. The part that will be hardest will be to see what this will do to Kevin. He has a heart as big as the sky above him and it will be broken into a million pieces. Tis better to have loved and lost...and nobody loves these lions like Kevin.

Meg and Amy are my two favorites lioness. They sooo friendly and I guess I have less fear of them being in a bad mood when I watch their video. It seems like they are really gentle and the bond they share with Kevin is beyond anything to me. So amazing
