300NM FLIGHT IN CANADA (CESSNA 172)

Part of the Commercial pilot training in Canada includes a 300nm flight, with 2 FULL stops, so me and 3 other pilots from my school took 2 planes (CESSNA 172) and flew from Pitt Meadows (CYPK) to Fort St James (CYJM)
This videos shows the way back (Fort St James to Pitt Meadows)
We stopped twice for fuel and a quick rest… First stop was in Quesnel, and the second stop was in Pemberton.
Cross country flying is a fun part of pilot training, where we get to plan long flights and go on adventures.

why would it take 12 hrs to fly 300 nautical miles? thats 2hrs in a 172.
