Ogre, the classic game of future tank warfare, will come to PC via Steam next year in a hex/turn based adaptation by experienced Steam developer and publisher Auroch Digital. Ogre raised nearly a million dollars on Kickstarter for its giant Designer's Edition, and one of the stretch-goal promises was "We will do a computer game." Here it comes. Work on the project will begin immediately, and the game should be released in late 2017.

Looks good. I used to have the old dos version with the radiation badge. It had a pretty good AI for the time.

Could you possibly do an IOS/android version of the game as well?

I cannot wait for this. I had the Amiga version back in the day and played the hell out of it. Funnily enough, I don't even really need the 3D graphics. If it were just clean, HD-quality overhead 2D I'd still love it, so long as the AI is strong.
It will have a map editor/sharing function, yes?

Nice! I can't wait to see more details on the game.
Since you guys are working with publisher Auroch Digital, can you comment on any plans to perhaps release any GURPS content/game aids (Like the character creation assistant) on a platform like Steam? It'd be really awesome to see.

Tag me in. I spent endless hours on the old Atari 65XE playing the Origins version. Egads what a great game. Even better if floated on GOG for multiplayer usage. Ogre has so much potential as an RPG, board game, video game, fiction, cartoon, live action movie, choose your own adventure, etc.
