Top 10 Racing Games of 2023 You DEFINITELY Need To Play

Racing games, like so many other genres, enjoyed a pretty solid 12 months in 2023. From big developers to small, from arcadey experiences to authentic simulators, from bikes to supercars to Lego bricks, from open worlds to stage-based racers, there was a healthy and impressively varied selection of new games to play for fans of the racing genre throughout the course of the year.

Perhaps we didn’t get a single game that was able to stand out as one of the genre’s best offerings ever the way so many other genres did in 2023, but collectively, the steady stream of racers that we played throughout the year delivered on several fronts. Here, we’re going to recognize a few of those games, and talk about the ones that stand out as our favorites.

From what I've seen from the sim racing channels on Youtube (and some not so sim channels) Forza Motorsport was one of the most disappointing entries in the entire series. And certainly not worthy of a #1 spot on a best of list. But, what do I know lol

We are still waiting, yet hoping for a new Ridge Racer game on the PS5. A remake of the original 1995 PS1 game would be wonderful, but if you can’t produce a new game then a remake will do. Please Namco make this happen.

Not only is Forza > GT7, but Forza Horizon is much better than The Crew too. I am so glad I didn't waste money buying a shitty PS5.

I don´t really know about racing games, I do however played NFS most wanted or midnight club dub edition in xbox and forza horizon 5 for a bit, and the moment I tried one race in forza motorsport, I was like why am I finding this so bad from even the begining, and went to steam scores to check and all mixed up review or negs, so as a non expert in racing games I found it not enjoyable since even the menu.

4:04 🤬🖕 *that game!* I ain't buying ANY game from UbiSox anymore: We pay $$$ for the "online only" The Crew 1 and they KILLED all the servers, without making the game playable in off-line mode OR even *compensating by giving us a FREE (old) great game!* And The Crew 2 "suddenly" now has less servers which explains why I have SO MUCH 🤬🤬🤬 LAG lately and this means *Ubi🤬Soft* will *pull the plug on The Crew 2 pretty soon too! So 🤬🤬🤬 The Crew MotorFest and 🤬🖕 Ubisoft!*
