Dr. Lex Frieden is a professor of biomedical informatics and rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He also directs the Independent Living Research Utilization Program at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston. Lex is known as an architect of The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and a catalyst in the worldwide disabilities rights and independent living movements.
