Polar Bear is a sweet and gentle song. It has beautiful acoustic guitar lines and soft and lush harmony vocals from Brian May. This song reminds me of the Queen Song "The Night Comes Down" or parts of another song from Queen called "Liar."

Great Vocal Harmonies by Brian May, who sings the lead vocal lines and Roger Taylor and Tim Staffell sings the background harmonies on this sweet, gentle acoustic song "Polar Bear." Thank you .

Thank you Living Filmmaker. Queen did record a demo of this song with Freddie Mercury On Vocals back in 1972. But my question is this, who sings better on this version of "Polar Bear", Brian May or Freddie Mercury?

No one has started a curse that this song is so special and to be loved afar that even Freddie Mercury singing the song didn't work out. Think about those facts to put together. The song is about enjoying greatness without selfishly wanting to own it. So Freddie loved the song and had like a mental block trying to sing it where he sounded like an American Idol reject you laugh at
