nice and very clear video! one question: if i have a onenote notebook connected to a sharepoint folder, is it possible to share the notebook but NOT the rest of the sharepoint folder (i.e. the files in the onedrive folder)? in other words, if i share the notebook, are the people automatically allowed to access the entire sharepoint? thanks in advance!

how do you download onenote folders and files?

So let’s say I want to make a recipe Notebook for someone that is similar to mine. Or even a copy of mine just without the recipes so they can make it their own. Is there a way to share it to them to where it becomes theirs and only theirs and doesn’t show up in my notebooks list? Or when I share it to them do they have to make a copy of it and save said copy on their own and then I can just delete the template from there?

Hi, you actually missing one of the best options to share notes. Its called "share sync" - you can share Pages or sections with another desktop or cloud OneNote user automatically. It's a very old sync feature that allows you just to add new notes into your OneNote and it will be shared straight away into others OneNote.
