Appreciate the response. I think we are on the same page. At some point it’s my thought the govt is gonna get involved with the pay structure of gig companies. Why? Because the govt knows the growth of gig is gonna continue. And we are obviously charging ahead into a world that will disrupt millions upon millions of jobs. The govt knows because of this we are at the early innings of tremendous need for transitionary jobs while folks reposition themselves hopefully for better pay in the future. We are only at the beginning of a sea size change in the workforce. Regulation will hopefully ensure the termination of lowering pay. What other industries lower pay time and again? It just ain’t right.

Thanks for the video. I recognize that businesses are designed to make money and reduce costs. I recognize that companies want people who work for them to be productive. But I just dislike being manipulated and mislead. I don’t believe there is anything wrong with cherry-picking. And if someone is not cherry-picking at least a little, they most likely aren’t being the most profitable for themselves. I also think that not being fully transparent is a disservice to the customers. How is it fair to a well tipping customer to get placed on a stacked order with a non-tipping customer because that order keeps getting declined by drivers who rightfully won’t take it? Now the good tipping customer may have to wait longer to receive their order because the driver has to make a second stop and delivery. If Doordash has a hard time getting a particular delivery accepted, then they should bump up the pay instead of stacking the order with a good paying one. To me, that’s dishonesty. It’s punishing good tippers and misleading drivers into taking crappy orders.
