We have a close look at Buttons on Midi Controllers and the different types and how we can configure and use them. e.g. taking toggle buttons to use with Play, Stop, Record, fast forward, Rewind etc. etc.

Windows: C:\ProgramData\Propellerhead Software\
OSX: //Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software/

Note: On some Windows machines if you don't have
C:\ProgramData\Propellerhead Software\Remote
then check
%appdata%\Propellerhead Software
and see if the remote directory is populated there.

Note %appdata%\Propellerhead Software also equals
c:\users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Propellerhead Software

Thanks for the alternative location of the remote files, as I could not find them. Your % etc location might be the way forward for me.

Hi! I use an arturia keylab essential 61 mk3 in reason 12.i have a problem with the record button. When i press it, once. The record remain only the short time the record button from the arturia was pressed. Normaly must record. Only if i keep it pressed the record goes on. Can you help me with an advice. Please.it's a problem from de keyboard or a setting in reason. Thanks a lot!

Hi poohbear. I have this pageturner bluetooth device (airturn BT500 s2) with two buttons. When I look inside Reason, they give cc64 & cc66. I can get them to remote override to start and stop, but I would rather have one of the buttons function like when you hit spacebar on the keyboard (toogling between play and stop with one of the buttons on the controller). The other button I would like to use for tap tempo. Is there a way to do this?

Hi ! :) Could you suggest me a way to put all values range from 0 to 127 on my Reason, please ? On my new Reason version, I have sometimes values range from 0 to 100 and it doesn't suits me. :/ Thanks in advance. ^^
