you are right it is sad people will spend money on more pedals or guitars they don't need but won't buy an album to support people that regularly give them free entertainment.

Great catching up on the stream and so so glad to hear Rob is back and hopefully well (certainly sounds it compared to the intense last year so happy news he's ok). And yeah, the spotify thing has really changed how many people see and unfortunately consciously/subconsciously value music. its a shame more don't use streaming as a way to discover artists or listen on the move then buy the music to support the artist, but in tight times I guess it is what it is (disheartening to hard working musicians though). But yeah - keep supporting artists and music when you can :) !!!

Sorry been missing your live show. It’s been crazy lately. Catching up. I had an original Victory in a really nice blue, got it in a weird collection I bought. I didn’t like it then and I don’t like it now. Gibson should have kept the original headstock. No trem doesn’t bother me. For a Gibson with a trem I would love to see the US-1 come back. The release of the Victory brings us closer to a release of the Gibson RD. I would love a modern RD. 😂 I can see the doom crowd going for the Victory.

You are right about PRS as well. They have a sale coming.

I would prefer Gibson release a cheaper version of the Theodore with a wrap tail and P-90, or an Epiphone with the same features.
As far as the Victory and other reissues...
Nostalgia is a luxury item 😀

@1:30 Cesar is in his self indulgent Gen X era. the victory is the guitar nobody asked for lol. the Theodore I could at least kinda understand since the Frank Bros arcade has been pretty popular. Low key kinda bothered that this new weird model gets 4 different colors out the gate while the Explorer is still stuck with the same boring colors since forever.

Should have leaned in. Solid metallic finish, floyd rose. Not those leather colors either. Like big loud and cool.

I think that Gibson looks awesome personally. I like hard tails to mostly. A riff machine. Side note I noticed you said you drink Coca Cola all the time. Me to. lol I use to be a vodka alcoholic. Coming up on one year no alcohol in a couple days. I to became obsessed with cola afterwards. What’s up with that? lol. Is that a thing.

I predict that this thing is going to be a massive flop. No vibrato, AND still has a really bulky heel joint? They just don't understand the guitar market beyond the typical blues lawyer. Who is this guitar supposed to cater to? It doesn't check the boxes for a Gibson purist or the modern player. Also, anyone else think this would have looked a lot better with the standard 3x3 open book headstock shape? The hockey stick headstock just looks dumb on this one. The whole thing is pretty dumb, IMO.

The Victory is just another example of how out of touch Gibson is, could have saved it with a 510 or a hipshot.

Less than zero interest in this thing.
