I would like to say thank you to the Dept of Justice Civil Rights Division and the investigation that they opened on the city of Houston. Residents like myself have been frustrated for years because we have been inundated with dumping and little being done to solve it by the city of Houston. We still have some concerns with some portions of the agreement but have confidence that the DOJ will be open enough to listen to our community voices since it will have oversite for the next three years. It was also an honor for community advocates like myself to be addressed by Kristen Clarke who I remember was often a panelist on the RMU. I know you already know this Roland but, the experts you chose as panelists are the BOMB!! Thank you!

Lineage Based Reparations for "Black" American Freedmen is the #1 priority, but other issues must also be addressed. Immigration is one of them. You mention Corretta; she also spoke about the immigration effects on Black Americans. Addressing inequities for all Americans is essential, but we should be fighting for all those things RM stated. RM is still playing softball for Democrats, though.
