Last Sunset R2: Into the Woods [Tulio]

In which Tulio nearly gets his head shot off...

My second round entry in the Last Sunset RP/editing contest:

So the trick for this entry was to make sure I had a different tone for this - since I already had Tulio exploring the woods the first round, I wanted to try a different focus here. Unfortunately, it meant I bit off way more than I can chew and had to cut some ideas short. Didn't help I got sick on the last day, lol.

On another note, I finally got to edit with music from my favorite band of all time, Coheed and Cambria… via a series of awesome orchestral covers. Was pretty dang stoked to find it, haha.

Thank you to Jessicat (Cindy) for suggesting all our characters (literally) bump into each other in the woods and helping me script it, to LightofHeze (Miguel) for letting me use her character, and to V00d00 (Jim) for agreeing to being my second 'partner' for the woods segment. And a very special thank you to PrincessStarlight (Belle) for being an absolute joy to plot with - your suggestion of having Belle scare Tulio awake was awesome. :D

Plot Notes:

- The reason Tulio went to Amos was because he was already suspicious of the 'Aurora was killed by wolves' story. During his excursion in the woods yesterday, he didn't notice any animal tracks.

- He considers Rodger his real dad despite not being blood-related. Rodger was Tulio's main influence in pursuing a theatre career.

- Tulio decided to trust Miguel, due to the latter revealing his secret to Tulio the night prior (the scene is covered in LightofHeze's round one video). If it was any other character, Tulio would have tried to lie.

- Tulio and Belle were gone when Esmerelda made the plan for everyone to explore the woods, so they were unaware the forest was populated that night.

I love all of your rounds very much! But this one is my favourite :D you matched the music perfectly with the events, actions and gestures of the characters and the plot! and your storytelling, with Tulio checking the skin (Furs? what do they call them?) at the neighbour's house. and the character interaction when he screams when Belle wakes him up :D and calming her down, and when he makes a bet with Miguel :D

I never commented on this but I gotta. I really really love the way you use audio! The effects like the dog barking is so well done. And how the music fits always when the athmosphere changes. It's really impressive! And ofc your manips look flawless. Like wow! Your storytelling is also fantastic. Everything in this is so well done♡
