It is all coming together quite nicely (on the face of it). maybe I will investigate this LINDA thing to see if I can get the Saitek switch panel working as it seems to have a mind of its own, sometimes it will other times nope. :)

I was thinking about the reflection problem and lack of space to make an enclosed cockpit and I thought of maybe you could fix a flexible shower rail in a u-shape above you and a black curtain so it covers the rear and some of the side.

Looks great mark, you should try out the A2A GA aircraft with this. The C172 and the Cherokee are both great, but I prefer the little piper myself. Have you considered using realty XP with this? The hardware is top notch so why not make the software just as good.
