I'm British (English) and our pancakes, when made correctly, are great. We have an annual "pancake day" when we make a bunch of them, often it's the only day people will go to the effort each year. They're best eaten one at a time with toppings of choice while still hot. Lemon juice+granulated sugar is a classic. Common toppings include - nutella/equivalent (sometimes with fruit), golden syrup/maple syrup/honey. Some people will roll them (my preference), some will fold them, some will just eat them flat

Edit: Thanks to those giving additional context, for others who may not be aware, that when I say pancake day, I am referring to Shrove Tuesday, which other places do also celebrate :)

English super thin pankakes
50 g self raising flour
1 large free range egg
150 g whole milk
Whisk together and cook on low heat until golden brown and spotty . Trust me this is my go to breakfast. :) .

For me personally the best waffles are overnight yeast risen waffles! Nothing will ever beat the excitement i feel whenever grandma says she's making them! ❤

You should try dutch pancakes called ‘pannenkoeken’, they’re like crêpes but thicker and they usually go with powderd sugar / syrrup but can also be topped with sweet and savoury ingrediënts by Mixing them through the batter or putting them on top like a pizza, my reccomendations are cheese bacon and Apple with cinnamon sugar. 🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱

Can you please make South Korean mung bean pancakes. They hit different, but don't be discouraged by the beans they are not like American beans. I made them with my grandma and we both agreed on how good they were. You are my favorite youtuber. Keep up the good work😊
