2 words. “It’s ok” are the words i’ve been longing to hear my entire life. Never heard them and yet my parents are wondering my I’m crying after they yell at me. Apparently feeling overwhelmed is wrong. Apparently I’m “too old” to be crying. To feel overwhelmed. To have emotion. Every time I cried I would sit in my room imagining my family and friends giving me a hug and telling me everything is going to be ok. All I ever wanted was support from my parents. All I ever wanted was someone to tell me it’s ok. Someone to tell me they’re proud of me.

I feel safe on the youtube platform. Where I can actually get emotional support. Where there is people telling me they’re proud if me even though the video isn’t specifically for me. People who comfort me. I like it here on youtube.
