Dmitri Shostakovich's Cello Sonata Op. 40 performed by Kendall Reid & Anneke Lamont

Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich (25 September 1906 – 9 August 1975) was a Russian composer and pianist. He is regarded as one of the major composers of the 20th century. Kendall Reid is a cellist, born in South Africa, who now lives in Los Angeles. Anneke Lamont from Bloemfontein is one of South Africa's internationally acclaimed concert pianists, with her primary focus being classical piano performance. Kendall and Anneke joined for a recital at Christchruch in Arcadia, Pretoria, South Africa and performed Cello Sonata Op. 40 by Dmitri Shostakovich.
