She came out of retirement in the mid-70s at the urging of her children to play an aging Marian alongside Sean Connery as an older Robin Hood home from the Crusades in Robin and Marian. They felt a chance for her to appear opposite the former James Bond was too great to pass up so she agreed. If you’ve never seen it, it’s a must-watch. Their chemistry is remarkable in this bittersweet romantic adventure that also stars Robert Shaw as the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Two for the Road is another film directed by Stanley Donen. I thought it was excellent. She was paired with Albert Finney who played her husband.

I highly recommend doing a reaction to Two For The Road. It is another great performance by Audrey Hepburn.

Audrey Hepburn was Dutch and Jewish. She spent particularly her childhood hiding from the Nazis. She was starved as a child and could never gain weight which was the real reason she was so thin.

I always assumed Ms.Hepburn didn't approve of the, then new, more "realistic" direction Hollywood was taking.
