DCJ Zondo criticised for allowing Dudu Myeni not to answer some questions

State Capture Inquiry chair Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has been criticised for allowing former SAA board chairperson Dudu Myeni not to answer questions on the grounds that she fears incriminating herself. Cathleen Powell has more.

Criticised by who? Zondo will evaluate all the questions she refused to answer by invoking privilege, and he will determine whether privilege is applicable to them or not. If not, she will come back and will be compelled to answer, but at the first instance he can’t compel her to answer. In the absence of a rebuttal from Ms. Myeni, then the evidence of those who implicated her will stand. Simple law logic!

Raymond Zondo is not stupid. That man knows his work, he is an expert in his field, he will leave no stone unturned. I just feel sorry for Zuma he created fed the commission and now it's biting the hand that fed it.

Myeni is a fraudulent criminal  character and  is a very rude and mannerless woman with  a very unbecoming attitude to the commission. Please my humble request is that this woman be put where she belongs by this commission, which I humbly request not less that 20yrs behind bars and pay restitution for the money she stole from the airline. Get this woman and her kind of the streets of S.Africa
