I find my crockpot works better than keeping a burner on- safer also.

I love a good simmer pot especially when I'm using my wood burning stove as it dries out the air. I set the kitchen timer to check the pot every and add more water to it. It is awful to let the pot run dry not to mention dangerous. Thanks for all the
