999 is 666 but turned upside down because 666 is a reference to the devil so he flipped it to 999 into a positive.

You guys should check out his other songs like 'Armed And Dangerous', 'I'm Still', 'Flaws And Sins',

I was born 2 days after juice wrld. I struggled with addiction since I was a young teenager, it’s not an exaggeration to say his music saved my life. When he died it left a huge hole in my heart, but this made me realize what it would do to my family if I followed in his footsteps.

Moral of the animation was.. he was fighting his demons ( stress, anxiety, and depression) - that's why there's 3. He ended up battling/ controlling them to an extent. But the big purple demon is drugs - which incorporates and uses the other 3 demons to get even bigger and stronger - Juice Wrld loses to the demon, and also loses his life :(
He wakes up in the sky, he's died - but his death wasn't going to stop him finish his fight, he uses all of his inner strength to finally become victorious over the demon of drugs...(a reference to he's finally free of all the pain now)
He takes a moment to look down on us (the earth) then leaves forever, to join the stars of fallen souls

999 symbolises taking something negative aka “666” the devils number and turning it on it’s head to make it positive

999 is basically the opposite of 666, meaning theres always a positive to something and you can always make good out of a bad situation

"999 represents taking whatever hell, whatever bad situations or whatever struggle your going through and turning it into something positive and using it to push yourself forward." Juice WRLD

Juice WRLD’s death is honestly one of the only 2 “celebrity deaths” that really affected me to any degree of significance (along with Mac Miller) - the worst of my own addiction struggles overlapped almost perfectly with both of theirs (as did Danny Brown’s, but luckily he and I both somehow made it out alive). As lame as it sounds, their music often made it feel almost as though we were going through the same (miserable, agonizing, hellish) experiences together - certainly enhanced by the fact that their artistic depiction & expression of addiction felt absolutely spot-on relatable to me. Primarily on an emotional level, their sonics, vocals, and lyrics just perfectly encapsulate what addiction “feels” like.

Anyway, on a mostly unrelated note - and to make a short story long - I’d recommend these Juice WRLD tracks: “Lean Wit Me, ” “Empty, ” “Wasted, ” “Black & White, ” “Maze, ” “HeMotions, ” + “Fast.” I’d also highly recommend “Ain’t It Funny” or “Rolling Stone” by Danny Brown.

And in a completely different direction, I really can’t emphasize enough how incredibly brilliant of a lyricist, poet, and just overall writer the rapper Aesop Rock is and has been for well over 20 years now. He literally has a larger vocabulary than Shakespeare (also by far the largest in hip-hop history), and is rivaled only by MF DOOM, Royce da 5’9”, Black Thought, and Elzhi in terms of crafting densely-packed rhymes layered with intricate wordplay and top-notch poetic aesthetics, all coalescing into prosodic brilliance.

(hint: check out “Zero Dark Thirty, ” “Crows 1, ” “Shrunk, ” “ZZZ Top, ” “Zodiaccupuncture, ” “39 Thieves, ” “None Shall Pass, ” “Fumes, ” or any number of other Aesop Rock tracks if you want to experience life for the first time)

999 means turning the hell you’ve gone through in life and turning it to a positive as it’s the devils number upside down.

I'm sure plenty of people already explained it, but---my initial thought of "999" was that it was a flip of 666. Him fighting the Devil, cemented that thought more. So, I researched it and yes, the rapper adopted the number “999” into his rap persona, even getting a tattoo on his forearm. Juice WRLD explained the number was an inversion of “666”. Since his death, 999 has continued with Juice Wrld’s legacy and is used within the Juice Wrld 999 Club Merch. I loved the graphical meaning of him fighting the Devil and overpowering it, as he stands victoriously with a "S" on his shirt. The Devil represents the darkness within himself that he constantly fights against, in order to see another day. And the "S" represents him as his own superhero. No matter how much someone wants to save you, it won't matter if you don't want to save yourself.
