Wish they would put this on Spotify, brilliant. I’ve been listening to the other greats’ recordings of this, had to seek out Bouriakov’s, knowing the technical prowess would be superior. Without knowing the piece a lot of the passages can sound confusing to the listener, but not when this man plays it. Amazing, divine, thank you.

Absolutely WONDERFUL!! You definitely need a strong low register or you just get drowned out by the piano. Very clean articulation or it doesn't make sense.

I’m playing this masterpiece whole my life and finally I found someone who plays this so good so inspiring. The only thing I can talk about is sound of my wooden flute compared to whatever is he playing anyway thank you very much for your play .bravo

Excellent performance! I played this sonata in college, so I know firsthand how challenging it is. I t was worth it, though -- what a piece! I also know how challenging it is for the pianist; it was hard to find one who could handle it.
