I absolutely love this mini challenge. I have been cleaning out my desk. I noticed I had a bunch of supplies that I am never going to use. And luckily, I have a client that is a vice-principal of an elementary school, so these will be going directly to her to hand out.

My nieces husband is a math teacher and I took all of my overflow of pens and pencils and created "boxes" for his classroom. This way, the items are available to the students without question. ❤

Every year, I buy my grandsons some school supplies! I, also, buy pencils, folders, and paper (both notebook and cooy) and carry to my local elementary school. I, usually, buy packages of underwear and socks for pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade as it is always needed!

My grandkids aren't old enough for school yet, so I am contributing to my great nephew's school supply purchases for Kindergarten. Young family with 3 kids 5yo and under. The youngest is coming home today after a month and a half in the NICU after being born at 32 weeks gestation. Praise the Lord for modern medicine and miracles.

I am going to take inventory of what I already have before purchasing school supplies for my daughter. I love the donation idea and I have always wanted to be in a position where I can pay off overdue lunch accounts at a school.

Happy Hump Day Jenn and chat. I love watching cash condensing/bill exchange videos. I will be doing this week’s challenge. We’re empty nesters but every year we buy uniforms and school supplies for our grandchildren. We buy school supplies in bulk for the full school year. We also supplies for each child’s classroom (Kleenex, Lysol wipes, paper towels and sanitizer for each grandchild’s classroom, etc).

I live in NE Texas and our local Christian Radio Station does a shoe drive for new shoes and school supplies. So many organizations helping out these kiddos. I'm with you and Jason, I'll be donating to help those families. I'm an empty-nester and remember the stress as a single mom those shopping days.

Also, when buying school supplies, a lot of the rebate apps help make the items nearly free 😊

I will be donating supplies to local schools. I will be making calls tomorrow. Last year I had my co workers that were starting college who didn't have the funds, go "shopping" in my big tote of supplies. They cleaned me out.

🎉I have 4 semesters left so I will be purchasing my school year things and taking advantage of great deals to donate. Our Chuch does a 'fill the backpacks" program. Last few years, we have "adopted" a new teacher at one of the elementary schools. I get her school supplies list and hit the sales. Then once a month make a "treat bag of goodies" and drop them off. Paper towels, hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes are the best go to supplies for a classroom and those dry erase markers. Just in case you looking for something to donate!

Many teachers have a wishlist of items for the class such as Kleenex, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, and other items that would be used by all students. I purchase these items and send them in. I decided to give my 14-year-old a budget for school clothes. I am interested to see how he does.

I didn’t get a chance to see this Wednesday but what a fantastic challenge; I cleaned out my office supplies and gifted pens and highlighters to my granddaughters before seeing this video. Adopting a classroom would be a great way to use my savings boosters (HH & Wordle) to support every other month.
