lack of penetration is straight rejection as per asme sec VIII. But in api 1104 it is having acceptance limits. Is there any other defect for example which may lead to change as per code.

Is this for UT acceptance criteria?...and if so, is height relevant to acceptance... doesn't Code state that any Individual indication with a height greater than 25% of material thickness a defect?...and if so, would length no longer matter?
