CenterPoint said they're working on a new redesign for the map but it won't be ready until the end of the month.

Alicia took 2 1/2 weeks. Ike took 2 1/2 weeks. I don't think we will ever have a robust power grid as long as providers like Centerpoint are not held responsible and are allowed to push all the costs of outages onto customers.

Center Pointless hasn’t even accessed our neighborhood! They are going to have to compensate for being without power! Mainly for being incompetent!

The new map is even more confusing because the graphics are so bad they cover all the street names with their stupid graphics which look like they were made with a huge paint brush.

Bull-shit! Centerpoint dropped the ball!

Get it together, losers. Get the power restored, now!!

The map is not accurate. Power was restored to our street and a transformer blew. All of the contractors left and Centerpoint told us tough toenails, you’re low priority and there’s no telling when we’ll get power.

This is very bad. Houston is massive it goes on for miles and miles, imagine trying to replace the whole thing over

The problem is they are not basing their geographical points on the flat earth map.

What app are they using that actually shows updates?

Centerpoint's outage map is a joke. They should learn from Entergy about how to create an outage map. Entergy's outage map isn't perfect but it's much more reliable and readable.

Yes, they are frustrated but that does not excuse gathering in crowds around line crews - most of whom have come into Houston from places 100's of miles away to help - and shouting abuse, curses, throwing bottles and rocks -- all to get the power on quicker? No wonder the world is such a mess - too many places where civility and love of neighbor no longer exist.

Compared to hurricane Ike, which caused extensive damages to Sugar Land area, but this time very minor, why in the world we don’t see any repair crews and takes so many days with no power in sight 😤
