What is a beige flag?

You’ve probably heard of red flags and green flags in relationships - but now there’s a new flag colour to know about in the dating world.

Red flags indicate troublesome traits in a person, while green flags signal the opposite.

Beige flags sit in the middle of these, and were first coined by TikToker @itscaito last year.

She described a beige flag in a video as a “sign you’re probably really boring”.

Examples of beige flags she gave included mentioning spreadsheets, hating pineapple on pizza and using puppies as your personality.

In recent days, more people have become aware of the term and have started suggesting their own beige flags.
