In the live clip where Comey described his illegal actions what struck me was not that he made them; he's a dirty cop. What I remembered was the audience was laughing right along because they all hated who his target was. These people didn't think for a minute about what Comey could do to them if he wised it done.

I am not arguing one way or another about what FBI director Comey did or did not do. This is something he did not do though is Robert Mueller on the investigation that was done by Trump's own appointees after director Comey was fired.
