I really like the layout of your board. I'm doing something similar. One thing I did was take a 16 (2x8) pin wire wrap socket and solder some 3K3 resistors in it. So that I have 8 pull-ups that can be easily wire wrapped. I struggled getting my ZIF socket in any of the dual-wipe sockets. I also couldn't get the ZIF pins in the WW socket. So I'm just going to have to solder it. Another idea I'm going to try is to solder decoupling caps onto two WW pins. Then, use small jumpers (like you'd see on a hard drive config) on connecting the WW pins to my component VCC pins. The jumpers will push all the way through and it's super tight.

Maybe I missed it...how are you ensuring that RAM isn't written to when Φ2 is low?
