That's such a weird thing for Stephen to say because he was on the Breakfast Club like 2 yrs ago, and he blatantly gave props to Skip for essentially "putting him on" & basically giving him that huge First Take platform. I wouldn't be surprised if this story was secretly constructed by both of them behind the scenes for more views to BOTH of their shows. Mutually beneficial in a way.

When I first heard what Stephen A said I thought, even if it was true, you don't do your boys like that. Maybe his definition of being boys is a little different to mine, but when it comes to my boys, I'm ride or die, and so are they. I would not put them on blast to the world like that. Dude is a well known *corporate plantation* sellout and for me is the biggest reason why I no longer tune into most of the ESPN sports analysis shows. I mean I don't know who I have a harder time tolerating on that show, him or Molly...

As someone who was watching First Take as well when it was formerly Cold Pizza, I agree with your assessment Jaye and I think Stephen A is fibbing a bit here BUT even though Cold Pizza had an audience Stephen A is RIGHT to say that he took the show to another level.

The magic between Stephen A vs Skip was epic and MANY shows after that tried to mimic that formula as we have Skip vs Shannon which is good but NOT the level of Stephen A vs Skip. This is a case of BOTH parties (Skip & Stephen A) making some legit points on both sides...
