Great recap! I showed this to my 85yr old dad. When Fringe 1st aired, we watched it faithfully. My dad, a retired scientist himself - & with his own quirks, really loved it. Probably the only show we watched together since i was a kid. So thank you, it was an absolute joy to watch ur recap and enjoy the show together all over again!

This show is actually really cool. Even though the science is silly, it kind of FEELS real with both the process and how it's presented. It's not just "smart guy knows because yes" where no attempt is made to justify or explain, you get actual like 70-80 year old professors with backgrounds in the relevant fields, real investigations and experiments and at least SOME explanation of how it works and how they figured it out. Even if it's only fictional, it is pretty entertaining.

"There's only several Walter Bishops". One of thee best shows ever aired. The box set also has secret bonus info within the break scene stills. Each of the yellow/ orange highlight discs. You'll see if you get one of the boxes. Excellent storyline and origin set ups.
PS there were three cows in total, " Go Gene, the cow..."
