As a CISSP and previously a hiring manager: proof of work is priority one IMHO. Show your work. Blogs, projects, youtube, side hustles, open source contributions, something. Network. Contribute. Show that you can solve problems and deliver results. In the interview, be prepared to specifically describe what *you* did, not what your team or the company they work for did.

As for certs: cloud. After that: network. Get as technical as you can, and stretch out to AI/ML, data analysis, and blockchain.

Have yet to find a job that will hire you with just security+. Almost all want a bachelor's with 5-7 yrs experience

Good video, but you are missing certs from ISACA.. those are great for Risk and Compliance. A side of Cyber Security people don't really talk about, when you become familiar with controls and various frameworks it will take your understanding of Cyber Security to a whole other level. I"m working on Azure Security right now. Planning to do my CISSP and CCSP later in 2021. I may also try for the CASP in preparation for CISSP if they offer a beta for the new version of the exam like they did with the Cysa+.

I think you missed the boat, their a tons of jobs/postings for people have experience/certification in DFIR skill sets, and the SANS DFIR certifications are the most in depth and comprehensive in that regard.
