Hi WBC. I love your videos so far, but this one has left me a bit lost. For instance, in the camera example it's still not clear to me what's the benefit of a blockchain on these devices.
You can have end2end encryption with a local private-key without a blockchain. Could you elaborate on this?

For home appliances and real life applications you need a centralized OS. Android and iOS have been at it since the early 2010s. For instance, for a phone to come out, the OEMs (or the manufacturers) in that space collaborate with the mother companies Samsung, iOS, Google, Huawei with the next iterations of phones improving on motherboard chips, new sensors to be included in those next flagship devices. Battery life is one of the main challenges in that space. These companies choose what the sensors to include i.e barometer, gyroscope, accelerometer and other sensors. These allow interactions with between the end users and their environments. When it comes to the blockchain and its role in that space it's complicated.
