Every GTLive not live video, I always look forward to that 18 second intro. I am not saying the new one is bad, but it is sad to see the last one go. Also, I think that this new intro serves better as an outro, like at the end of the video.

The way the new intro kind of comes in on the background with the riff actually sent a blast of nostalgia through me.. it reminds me more of the old old gtlive intro, back when they were actually still live on the couch. I was rewatching one of Mat and Steph’s streams from 2017 (Emily is Away) because it’s one of my comfort series and seeing that subtle nod coming back to the present was so sweet. I like the changes, even if they are a little sad ♥️

I like how matpat cried and made a big weekly countdown and multiple endings just for nothing now he does whatever he pleases and is still doing videos and gt live and actually never left at all in any way and it’s hilarious in every way😂
