Starfield - How to SKIP Over HALF The Main Story

This glitch will allow you to skip over half of the main story missions and save you lots of time so you can get to the end game to farm items and new game armor. If you want to skip past the early parts of the story this method will save you countless hours. It's easy to do once you know exactly what to do. I didn't see this posted anywhere in extreme detail so I broke it down so anyone should be able to follow these instructions and make it work. This does work on Xbox and PC copies of Starfield.

This glitch takes advantage of how quests work in Starfield by manually landing at a far away planet to trigger a quest completion event that will make the game think you've done everything up to that point and allow you to enter the end game home stretch of the main story quest. This skip can be done at the very start of the game and only requires a ship that can travel far, which is easily done by adding a bunch of fuel tanks. I go over step by step where to find the planet, where exactly to land, and where to travel once you've landed. Have fun saving countless hours of grinding!

Didn’t take long to find it, thanks to your instructions.
It was easier to copy your landing zone by seeing how the circle cut through the ‘bunny ear’ closest to the zig zag.
Also, while on foot around the mountain, I used the photo mode to fly up with lowest FoV to zoom in like binoculars.

My starmap has it to where the small island spawned upside down.. But the starmap rotation is almost 2D in this game to where i am limited to rotating completely around the planet, does this happeb with anyone else? Im on console

I have a level 202 character with all powers at x whose character was stuck on several missions ( quest locked on several storyline because I chose to be an insane pirate in my level up playthrough), anyways, this trick saved my character from an incompletionist oblivion

The only missions I’ve been following through so far is the one to unlock the free mind controlled skill. But I get sidetracked because I’ve been just having fun doing exploits and leveling up. I’m going to search for a list of main missions and see how many of those are skipped by doing this. Thanks for the vid! Update: so far I’m like 7 main missions away from Unity. I exploited myself up to a level 50 and hoarded legendaries. I think I’ll do this since I don’t really have much time to play games ha

I love your vids man (your Starfield vids are the best <3) and I'm sure this is a good one but... I'm old and have been playing video games since pong, yeah that's right, "ok boomer". I started playing wow, and ffxi in 04 and 2 accounts I still have on eve online since 07. FFXIV, games by Wargaming, simulators, Star citizen since 2018. I still don't get the just skip the story and rush to the end to play the end. I understand that people want to grind and grind at the end to get the ultimate gear but sheesh, not even enough patience to actually play the story? Seems like people burn thru these games in a matter of minutes then grind like crazy to get gear and then burnout and wait and wait for the next game to burn thru. Really I do get the kids toady, gotta have it now, I did 40man raids in wow for months to get crap. I'm not judging, really, I'm just sad that the story in games has become an inconvenience to the "end game" goal. Might be easy money if game companies just made games where you start at max level, no more pesky level grinds, and just give you nothing but whacked instances to dress up and be the best Barbie. Sorry @SwoleBenji for the rant n whine man, it's just been welling up for a while and had to burn off some steam. I'm pretty sure you can get the rest of the powers and stuff in NG+, so it doesn't really matter that much unless you just want to do the main story all the way through the first time for immersion's sake. Lol.
